Problem:

The production of nails and staples on 99 machines at Bethlehem Steel Company's Sparrows Point plant was fast, but product handling was slow. Filled buckets were manually dumped into tote carts.

Solution:

Forty-two Eriez Chip and Parts Conveyors changed everything. These permanent magnetic conveyors moved the nails and staples directly to the carts at speeds up to 700 pieces per minute. Workers were freed for other duties. All sizes were conveyed easily and swiftly.
